Emma helped me to see things in a different, more positive light, allowing me time to process my thoughts and reach conclusions on my own. This has allowed me to create much needed boundaries in my personal life and feel sure in my decisions/actions. Emma created a space that was safe, even if it was uncomfortable at times, to open up and feel supported whilst confronting some extremely negatives beliefs that have been quite deep rooted. Having these sessions with Emma has given me a sense of freedom, from all the things that have been hindering my self-development. Her tone of voice and body language was very calm. Emma’s use of music to support my progression through the session with me was brilliant. I thought this was a really good personalised touch and demonstrated how much thought she had put into each session. Emma’s calm manner, relaxed environment, and well prepared sessions really have helped me engage with this process.

Emma helped me to see several different perspectives on how I can open up emotionally and this opened my eyes up to new opportunities. I am less critical about myself and feel far more at ease with myself.  I have become more self-aware emotionally and am able to unlock emotions. This experience gave me a different thought process on how to go about things in my life.  The anchoring process is something I will use throughout my life. I feel a lot more positive now than before these sessions and am more confident in myself.  Emma’s questions were clear and she had a good use of words and language that helped my understanding.  Emma had a calm voice and she was easy to listen to.  She allowed me time to think quietly and have time to think.  Emma always let things be my decision. I never felt judged.  It was easy to connect with Emma and we had a good rapport.

In the coaching sessions I had with Emma, I was able to find ways to talk to people easier and I learnt how to make conversation starters for various situations and with different people.  She was calm and it was easy to talk to her.  Emma is really funny too.  She acted out some of the characters in some of the activities and this made me laugh. Emma had planned well and the questions she asked me made me think for myself instead of being told what to do. I have talked to more people especially at my clubs and this makes me feel good.  I now feel more confident in carrying on conversations rather than I did before, when I really did not know what to do or say. The puppets were really useful for me.  Emma used paper people that I could draw and colour onto.  This idea was really good because it stopped me getting distracted. The music really helped me concentrate as it was calming and not just silence which I find uncomfortable. I liked that Emma had thought of lots of ways to make me feel really included in the coaching sessions.

I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to be coached by Emma. I felt like my life was spiralling out of control. I was experiencing a lot of trauma at the time. Emma made me feel comfortable and at ease sharing this and I had some powerful realisations during the sessions which eventually led to me making a big life change. I felt that Emma asked some really thought provoking questions and held space for me to dig deep and come up with the answers I needed.
